I find these 3 statistics pertucularly disturbing. Not really surprising, but very disturbing nonetheless.

-Number of Iraqi civilians killed during the recent war: 3,240.

-Number of Afghan civilians killed during the 2001 war: 1,800.

- Number of deaths due to terrorist attacks: 720

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that 720 is a small number or that those people didn't matter, but think of the media coverege that 9/11 got and the media coverege that the 100-some American soldiers got (again, 100-some is far too many but look at the numbers of civilians killed). I don't think I ever once remember seeing a count of Iraqi or Afghan casulities either military or civilian. Judging by the numbers, I'd say we should have at least mentioned that. I mean they are people too...they're not automatically evil because they are from a certain country or part of the world...

They don't mention shit like that because they don't want to make the president look bad. It's only acceptable to come down on a president if he gets a blowjob, not go out of his way to kill innocent men and women from both America and Iraq. You'll never find an honest news station that tells you the entire truth. Yes, we might have killed a couple of Husseins', but we killed 3500 innocents.

And isn't it funny how we're supposedly doing away with the terrorism problem, but the color guide keeps getting worse? Each time we do away with a supposed problem, 8 more pop up, threatening to end all our lives.

i dont even know why we argue about the war shit anymore, theres nothing any of us can do about it, let it go, war is always going to be around, and innocent people are gonna lose their lives, it just happens, good god , its not like u knew those iraqis personally, im not losin any sleep over it.
