Rob, for the last time, if you call your mother Alex, that doesn't make her Alex.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
In other news, I just wrote the practice exam from HELL. Everyone studied for exam #6 out of the exam practice book, and like 3 people got exam 6 and the rest of us got exam 10?!?! WTF? I have never seen so many fucked up straigh-out-of-left-field questions in my life, not to mention half the nav section was impossible to do because that godforsaken exam didn't give you enough information... yeah i just finished it and walked out and now my friend and i are on the pc's waiting for everyone else to finish the exams. Right now I'm thinking there's no way in hell I passed

I just read the first chapter. Not much has happened. Re-introduced to the characters and all that. It continues just about exactly where PoC left off.
Update on my previous post. It turns out that my flight's marks had gone up a lot, especially in comparison to the other flights, because of this book that our ground school instructor gave us that had almost exact duplicates of our exams in them. Now, this moron didn't tell anyone about that book, so they thought that the people who were doing really well were cheating!! That's why we had to write that fucked up exam, to scare the shit out of us into confessing about cheating! (i got 58% on that by the way). So we basically had this big fucking scary meeting where we had to sign these things saying that we didn't have any copies of the exams from previous years and they were all like IF YOU LIE ON THIS YOU WILL BE SENT HOME. I seriously almost shit myself, the guy who runs this place can be REALLY scary when he wants. So anyway they eventually realized that it was just that book and they were like oh ok, sorry about that! Here, go write the REAL exam #6! I was so mad at them that I only got an 84 (due to stupid angry mistakes). So yeah i ended up writing TWO 3-hour exams in one day, with a huge scary session of getting the business in the middle. ANYWAYS. Tomorrow is the big scary official exam. I got 91 on the qualifier today! My instructor bet me a dollar that i'll get withint +/-2% of 85% I was like you're on bitch, I'm going for the ninties. We'll see!
Anyways after tomorrow it'll all be just fun and flying... I CAN'T WAIT
btw: robbo, don't give anything away

Yesterday we wrote the final Transport Exam ... results on friday.. yay the school part is over! Then we went to a bbq at this Air Force Association place (like a legion) and all the old people were like "here deary, have some cake, play us some more piano" it was fun. AND I got a package from my mommy with my AIP, some stamps, and some contacts, and a letter from my friend and THREE letters from my bf and then I got to sleep in until 8:30 this morning! so yes it was a good day.

I got 86 on the transport. Decent, but I owe a dollar now lol. Our overall average was 88% (my flight got the harder exam AGAIN dammit) which is WELL over any other average in Canada. Yay!
