heh.....

Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown
let it be welcome

and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.

Wow, am I the only one to think this is funny? I guess we're on a message board of anal-retentive PC fucks that have to take everything overly seriously. Let it go, Stephanie is not a racist, it was a joke. It's not like she even wrote it.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

You people need to lighten up a bit. You all know it's a joke, so don't act so offended by this. It doesn't specifically name your name, so let it go. Anyways, if it was a clever little poem depicting someone like Sadaam Huessein or Osama bin Laden as a moron, you'd all be laughing and saying how great it is, even though it's clearly offensive to Arabic people everywhere.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

I am not telling you how to feel Aerin. I am saying this was a joke, and it clearly is. I can't believe people like you even exist. You were not personally insulted, and because of that, you need to shut the fuck up too hun. See, you have no right to say how you feel that it is sooooo racist and offensive if I don't have the right to say we should lighten up and take it as a joke, which it was. Anyways, isn't it your government that gives me the right to say how I feel about things?
So thanks for saying yet another thing that is bitchy and starting a fight because maybe you don't want to pull the stick out of your ass quite yet. Just do me a favor. If I can't have the opinion that maybe you people should lighten up with these things, then do us all a favor and don't say how "horribly offended" you are about everything. Thanks.

it's only offensive because the word mexican is in the link....um yeah mexicans aren't the only ones migrating to america. in fact the poem itself kind of states this on it's own.
