Do you think this is accurate? Which side are you on, if any?
I dunno if I can accurately choose one side of those two options.........I don't consider the Prez a doofus but at the same time, who wants to adopt King James' ideals???
hmmmmm.........

Well, I do think he exaggerates the stances of both sides of the debate. It's the ol' liberals vs. conservatives thing again, but it does seem heightened lately. I wonder if the US will ever divide itself on those lines... hmmm...
You think the US will make a decision like that???? Could you name one person (besides yourself heh) with the mental capabilities to POSSIBLY achieve something like that????
The U.S. chooses to live behind closed doors, in its own freakin room, with the entire world living in the closet. (whoh - a quote baby!)

Well, I don't think it'd happen in the near future, nor be a "decision", but if people feel strongly about such things, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of another civil war that could divide the country for good.
Aerin, do you seriously thing the country has enough extremists (spell check, I'm lazy right now) that could divide the country and its ideals into two??
I can't see it happening.....even with all the bullshit, the U.S. will never be picture perfect for everybody. Even if we get another president that makes 80% of the public have orgasims because he/she is so great. Ya know?
Let's ask Hillary Clinton to become the first woman president, then see how things go.

I think we're at something of a crossroads, though. From here, I could see it going either way. People settling down, getting back to life, moving on, or people getting more and more outraged. It depends on a lot of things. There is a VERY big difference between the general ideals and ways of life in the deep south and on, say, the north-east and -west coasts. I'm not going to make any crystal-ball proclamations, but I wouldn't rule anything out.
you're exactly right.........as far as some of the ideals depending on where you live in the country, but I think that's what is keeping our country so diverse. And even though there's lots of crap going on the country, as far as anything extreme its completely null.
As far as I can see.............I can't imagine any major changes in how our everyday lives are shaped in this country. Whether we like it or not, the U.S. has now taken a role of international police, and I know a lotta people oppose that. That's one thing I could possibly see, I can't imagine straight up isolization which didn't succeed around Vietnam-era, but theres a definite possibility that a future president could turn down the heat.

O'reilly for Prez! Everything would be okay with that guy in office.

Who is this idiot? "On one side we have a Perfect Utopia, on the other Hell Inferno". What a jackoff. If he wants to provoke thought and people to take it seriously, he should try and show a tad less bias. This won't happen. The Left can't survive without the Right just like the Right can't survive without the Left. There are no territorial boundaries besides. You see views dispersed all over. Also, the debate is no more prominent now than it has been for the past 2 centuries.
gore all the way, hell he probably won that election anyways. And yes i know most people consider him boring, but hey, at least he's not a ignorant, dumbass fuck up like bush. him and Clinton were doing a pretty good job before Bush came, economically and without the whole killing thosands and all.....

I would like the government to split like that. It would be one coast of Left-wing people and the other coast of right-wing people, then there could be an anarchist community in the middle. I would love to live in anarchy. And when it worked, it would just show how stupid people were for believing anarchy only means violence.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Looking back on clintons days, they were pretty tranquil, however, companies that were big in his economy have come out with cooked books and many an accounting scandal during bush's term. his economy during his time was really a lie. and it's only now that were catching their lies and it's making every other company that lied either cover it up, or clean up their act and make the economy look bad now.

And Clinton DID kill thousands. Many many more than those killed throughout the war in Iraq. All while keeping it out of the public eye. At least Bush announced his war.
um..Kosovo. you know that little missile strike while the rest of the world was looking into how many blow jobs he got from an intern.
