I missed ya
Yes, guidance counselors are dumbasses. I went to a small school too, and I agree they give you more options. Do you have to take two years of GE in Canada and then chose your major, or do you go right into it? Cause even if I didn't take a required science class in hs, they'd let me take it in college. Granted...you have to pay for it. But better than nothing.
I want some ice cream...verrrrry badly.

I believe it depends on the school... I don't have to declare my major until 2nd year... during first year I can take whatever I want just as long as one of the courses I take is the subject i applied for (in my case psych) I think at a lot of the bigger schools they have you jump into your program right away and you take courses that are related to your program.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown
