CD help

Post by Candy-coated Fake »

Ummm..somehow I got water underneath the metallic part. It looks like it, at least. Will it dry up or is my CD totally destroyed now? Help!

Sorry, I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I'm kind of concerned 'cause it's my "Live" CD.

Okay, a few things...

a) How'd you get water under it?

b) How could you be so careless with the Live CD?!?

c) If it can get in, it might get out, given time. But it could also leave residue, which would ruin the CD.

d) Just buy a new one. :)

And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Yeah, it ruins your cd. That's what happened to my Mike Felumlee and Dan Andriano split cd. My stupid ex-girlfriend didn't take care of it after she burned it and fucking ruined it. Only 1000 made, and she destroys it. Great.

a) I think, since it was in my backpack when I was riding my bike home in the rain, water leaked into the case and got into it.
b) Beacause I'm a careless idiot.
c) It still seems to work now...maybe it was just my stupid computer. I'll just see what happens.
d) I don't have enough money to buy a new one. I am poor, as in it takes me months just to earn $50. Sad, I know...

But was there a lot of water under it? Mine only has a bit...

Mine had lots of dried water spots on it.

By the way, if someone wants to buy me another copy, I would be appreciative.

I don't even have the cd myself. I also don't have the Matt Skiba/Kevin Seconds (that's his name right?) split either

I am telling you right now that you need to own the Matt Skiba/Kevin Seconds split. It's truly amazing. I listen to that cd over and over again, and I never get tired of it. Both halfs of the cd blow my mind. Buy it now.

I will when I have money. All I have on me is five dollars. And it's not even mine.
