your pro-anarchy, i hate democracy and since the US is the picture boy of democracy i'm gonna hate them and everything they do and be blinded to everything everyother country does because i'm hell bent on the US and i shouln't be even calling America America i should be spelling it with a K cause anarchy is the new trend bias.

it's got about nothing to do with trends. face it man, your beliefs are still a hell of a lot more "in" then mine are.

i think the thing you're not aware of is, is that I do know that other governments commit atrocities. but what, exactly, would be the point of me posting about their wrong doings? you'd readily and happily agree with me while continuing to think your country is somehow magically exempt from any evil.

that's not my goal. my goal is to alert you to the fact that your government is doing bad shit in your name with your money and that it isn't right.

no you got other countries playing with a handicap. you point out situations in the US that go unoticed anywhere else. you fail to mention oh by the way, the same thing is going on elsewhere, but i won't talk about it because it weakens my case for Democracy/US = evil. we all know yeah...the US has fucked up alot of shit, at the same time we also see hey, it's not just us it's everyone else in many cases. there are also times when we know damn, the US and only the US has fucked things up. but in both cases you point out the US has fucked up and they will do it again. that ain't right, put everyone on a level playing field.

why do i need to point out the attrocities of others if you already know that they're going on?

the thing is, i don't really care about whether or not an investigation was launched with respect to the other thread. i just care about the body count. i'm trying to point out that your government lied to you, and that handy boston globe editorial also gave you a quick glance at the number of civillians you've killed for no reason in the two campaigns since amerika went to war with terror.

even if the other countries are doing wrong, that doesn't excuse wrongful actions by amerika. the reason i don't post about the shit that the bad guys in uzbeckhistan or what have you are doing is because

a) my mailing lists don't cover that country
b) who cares? if i say "the president of uzbeckhistan" is a dictator, and back it up with an ABC editorial, are you going to take his side?

actually awhile ago it was Syria that was being pressured by the US, it was during the whole "they fled to Syria" spat. Also as for a threat to Canada, America has probably been the only magor immidiate threat to Canadian land ever. Infact, some think if Lincoln hadn't been shot Canada wouldn't have existed. Not to mention, Canada is stuggling to keep it's identity but losing against American Media and Influence. It's really sad actually how much the average canadian knows about America and is effected by it. Not to mention the FTA and NAFTA being badly disguised attempts at taking Canada from the inside.

I found his article very funny.

Jamie Glazov is a bit of a spaz me thinks.

the commerical was meant to be funny, you know, a joke. this guy took it way too seriously.

i loved that ad. and you know what, the fact of the matter is, i've been to the US and mentioned i was from canada, and been asked 'Do you know....?'

alot of the stereotypes in the ad are true. that's why it was so popular.

cause to the casual observer your making it look like the US is wrong all the time and everyone else is innocent ad their hands are clean. that's why. your gonna be an advocate for the safety of innocent civilians then talk about other situations where innocent civilians have been killed by other countries.
