I am a semi-vegetarian, I guess you could say.
I need to eat chicken, or else I feel weak. So basically, no red meat or fish ... or turkey. Just chicken, thats it.
But it is really good way to eat, either way. I have eliminated alot of the useless fat out of my diet and I feel alot better overall.
I have also recently cut out alot of my bread/pasta/rice intake because of all the carbohydrates and sugar in them. I only eat whole wheat bread now, and going back to white can make me feel sick to my stomach.

Too much dairy makes me really really sick .. but my mom feels the need to force dairy on me since she thinks I'm not getting enough nutrition and calcium. Blech ..

Just remind your mom that they make pills to help make up for deficiencies. I would rather take a calcium pill than slam down like 5 glasses of milk to satisfy some one.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

see the problem with some of those calcium pills is that they dont break up in your stomach enough to absorb the nutrients. some of them pretty much just sit there like a rock. but they do have calcium candies i believe, and those are supposed to be pretty good.

Yeah, my mom told me I need to be taking supplements .. I should probably look into that. I used to love those orange calcium pills, but I was eating them like candy and my mom yelled at me saying they'd turn my skin orange from too much calcium  I wasn't sure if I believed her or not so I stopped taking them.

although i'm not even close to a vegetarian, i thought that this site was interesting even though it's from PETA. it's all of the companies that test their products on animals, some of them were surprising: http://www.peta.org/mall/cc/cctest.html

I support PETA .. though sometimes they're kinda retarded .. I mean .. wanting to rename Hamburg to Veggieburg is taking it a step too far.

I try not to use any products tested on animals but it's hard .. I mean most name brand soaps, deoderants and toothpastes are on the list that DO test .. I don't use shampoos from companies that test .. no cosmetics either .. though Revlon is okay.

A vegan (strict vegetarian) does not eat meat, dairy products, eggs, honey, or any product derived from an animal. A vegan diet can (and should) be full of a wide variety of delicious, nutritious foods, including vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes, seeds, and fruits. Vegans don’t wear leather, fur, silk, or wool. Many refuse to use products that are made with animal ingredients, products that are filtered using animal parts (such as some wines, beers, and white sugars), and products that have been tested on animals.

I don't drink milk anymore .. I switched to soy milk :D Though you can't really avoid milk in crackers, cookies etc that you buy at a store, well you could, but that's a lot of effort. I don't eat eggs either .. but I love cheese too much to give it up. So basically I just don't drink straight milk and no eggs unless the eggs are in something like cookies or whatever. I've never liked milk .. I used to cry when my mom made me drink it. Plus if you only knew what was really in milk .. it's nasty.

I bought a whack of those Body Smart chewy candies today .. I thought this was funny:

*Adults and children over 5, chew 10 pieces daily as desired. Caution: Exceeding daily dosage may cause a laxative effect.

oh man...

yeah i was never much of a milk drinker. only in my cereal. but now i don't even drink regular milk anymore because of all that weird shit in it. i drink that skim plus stuff, which i supposed to be all purified and fortified. who the hell knows. i have been thinking about making the switch to soy milk though.

see the problem with eggs is, i LOVE eggs. so much. eggs and ketchup mmm... omelettes mmm...
