By the way, I hate to be the one to break this to you guys, but the word "emo" comes from the Greek "emmau", which means "pretentious and laaaame". Yes, that's lame with FOUR a's. Pretty lame.

Yes, I KNOW that. It is also used to describe a group of pretentious and lame people who think that because they whine about their feelings a lot it makes them sexy. It doesn't. Just annoying.

emo kids are sad. :cry: it's because they are hormonal.

however, you do not have to be sad to like emo. i like quite a bit of the stuff and i'm happier then a pig in shit most days. it's because i'm not hormonal.
