Alkaline Trio - Good Mourning

Rooney- Self Titled
What I felt before was wrong, I told myself all along, these familiar feelings take away the pain. And with this reason to rebel, I told you how I felt, you turned and sighed and said you couldn't feel a thing for me. And I lost another wish in all of this.

one out of three ain't bad
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I loved high/low, but I heard one of the new songs on the radio and I was very surprised at how much worse it was than their earlier stuff  Then again, perhaps it's one of those albums that grows on you over time?

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Most recent cd purchased that I actually have: Linkin Park - Meteora (special edition)

Most recent cd purchased (off ebay, I don't have it yet) Alanis Morissette - Alanis...I d/led a song from it and it was actually pretty good but sounds nothing any of her stuff that's not OOP.
