i saw steve on may 25th. met him then too. you could tell he was all new at it, he was actually interested in learning my name and stuff. so sweet.

Yeah, but at least you guys didn't have MAZUR tell you when you met him * I heard about you*. I was so tempted to say DOn't believe anything the band told you. I will say this though, that totally blew my mind. Plus when I saw them at the Northern Lights show, He told me he played up a notch on Not Enough cause I told him I love the guitatr part on the song. ARGH, He is such a doll.

I met him at the 2nd olp show I saw him at. It was the Y101 radio show in Camden, June 2003. I was getting something at the concession stand and saw him, so I walked over and introduced myslef to him. HE was so sweet. I asked him how he got in the band and other things.

BTW, here is useless triva thing for you. ON Chantal's recent TV performances-Leno and Kilbourne, the drummer is the guy somewhat responsible for Steve being OLP today. he is friends with the band and filled in a few shows for Jeremy in 2001.

i was at the show on the 15th heh
it was fun
duncan sang the cheap trick cover :lol:

jenny (olpmaypole), kruno (boat), miro and umm.. i think reena and priscilla went upto steve and jer and said hi.. (well to jer) and steve was there and he introduced himself to us and ask us for our names.. and we just hung out and talked for a bit b4 they had to go in for soundchecking..
i remember very distinctly the exchange between steve and i about my name..
after he asked everyone else for their names.. he finally looked at me and said:
him: "and your name?"
me: "sandeep"
him: "wha?!"
me: "sandeep"
him: "sorry?!"
me: "sand"
him: "sand?"
me: "sand" :nod:
him: "SAND!"

twas funny

those 2 shows were great.. and since no one knew who steve was he hung around kruno, miro and i and talked to us for the most part.. joked about stuff.. :lol:
the 2nd night.. i figured i might as well get my ticket signed so i asked him about it.. and he was so happy talkin to the fans that he forgot about it.. he had the sharpie w/ the cover off and was just talkin to everyone and after about 20 or so minutes of that.. he finally realized he was gonna sign something and looks down at the ticket and asked "HEY! who's ticket is this?!" when i said it was mine he responded by saying "OH.. SAND.. its YOURS.. well you'll be here for a while so i'll get it to you eventually" then he laughed and went back to talking again.. :lol:

Steve still knows sand and the twins to this day LOL

and i swear it's not because he's scared of them or anything!

And as a third edit... TECHINICALLY.. steve's first show was the SOT video shoot. They played a bunch of songs to a crowd of fans. It was a show.
