The Drought is on!!!
godamn this happens every fucking year! winter has it's rain, but then come spring, when were suppose to get rain....NOTHING! this year we got flooded during winter a few times, and the farmers thought they were going to have a really good year. the only problem they got was that they couldn't get into the fields cause they were too muddy and the tractors will just sink in the soil. so they planted late, and now there's no rain! so the current situation is late underdeveloped plants. what sucks for alot of them is there's a deadline to plant so they can claim damages (such as drought) and alot of them didn't make it cause of the wet fields, these guys were banking on having a good year to pay off the losses. not going to happen at this rate. you would think these guys would learn that farming here doesn't provide profit. there's a few fields around with browning corn, it's only like 3 feet high and the sun is burning them from ther bottom.
i'm not a farmer, in fact i don't like kickers, i just feel kind of bad for them.
