The USA's version of riot control
if this happened in the US everyone would be freaking out, but because it's on foreign soil and it's not Americans who were killed it's not that large of an issue.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Thanks captain obvious.
What do you expect from us? Remember how the Iraqis have been hyped up as the major enemy of America for the past few months? Now that we unjustly killed a handfull of them, do you think the media will chastise the army for it? Give me a break, it's our media, we're not going to talk bad about what we do.

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

maybe they should get some more mature troops then. i cant believe you are defending these motherfuckers. it was a fucking slaughter. not even an appology has been issued. not even an investigation. you people are so fucking brainwashed i'm about to throw up.
and now its international security. the call of the righteous men.
mature troops....hate to burst your bubble bro, but once the 18-24 year old "resources" are tapped, they go younger. Iran went down to 12 year olds to fight Iraq. There were teenagers fighting for the US during WWII. How many times do i have to say this, 1. they are liable,2. they are accountable,3. they are responsible,4. they fucked up,5. they should pay for this with prison terms. Just like the pilots that killed Canadian troops in Afghanistan should be in prison. tell me where I’m backing up their actions? war sucks and people do stupid stuff during war,6. they are responsible for their actions. if you think 18-24 year olds are too young for war, what makes you think 12 year olds are any better? all your doing is pulling at strings here, and it's fucking stupid. All media outlets around the world are raising all sorts of hell about this, just like American historians make a big deal about the Boston Massacre.

Wow, some one is being a bitch today! God, get the stick out of your ass. I seriously didn't even know they had troops, seeing that they haven't had a noteworthy role in a war in nearly 200 fucking years. So how about you go ahead and shut the hell up now, ok?

actually Canda played a big role in both world wars, in fact most likely bigger then the US accept for Hiroshima(which was a atrocity), i'm not trying to bash america but don't say canda hasn't done anything in 200 years, cause that's wrong, we also take shit for not entering the war on iraq, but america didn't enter world war 2 untill pearl harbor......

We didn't enter the war until Pearl Harbor because we weren't being attacked. Back then we had a little bit of common sense. Look at it this way. If Iraq decided to drop a few bombs on Toronto, would you feel it's time to enter the war? That's the exact same way we felt in WWII.
The only big thing we did in WWII was bomb Hiroshima? Are you kidding me? How well was Canada doing in the war before America entered it? Didn't it look like you were going to get your asses kicked? Last time I checked Hitler was steamrolling over any resistance until we entered. I must have forgotten the Canadians were the ones that finally put an end to the war.
And Clumsyboy, do me one favor. Find a post on here about a war where you didn't bash America. Find me one where you actually agreed with something pro-American and I will back off.

but so would an invasion. most people forget that on D-Day alone 14-15 thousand innocent people died.
this bomb saved british troops, russian troops, and canadian troops too. you make it sound like it was just the US that was going to lose lives.

Nope, I have no problem with you. I am just trying to defend America from the anti-American bashing that goes on here.

No, I have no problem with what you said. It seriously wasn't a joke, so please read this, let it sink in, and move on. I don't want you to think I am attacking you or anything. I am sick of nearly every single Canadian that enters these threads, posts something along the lines of how much America sucks the big one, and then tries to defend their opinion even though they have very little knowledge on how things are really run and never crossed the border and to see what America is really like.
Things like saying America is evil for dropping that bomb is absurd. If Canada has 15,000 troops die in a "suprise" attack, and Canada had the technology back then to blow the hell out of Japan, I am sure Canada would have used it. The fact of the matter is, whenever America does something that is right and justifiable, everyone else has to raise hell and call us Great Satan, even though if in the same situation and having the same technology, any country would do the same exact thing to protect the innocent people living there. It's that simple.
Along with that, saying that Canada had a larger part than America in WWII seems kind of crazy. I suppose it's either a coincidence or an amazing second wind from the Canadian troops that ended the war in Europe. It just doesn't work like that. If not for America joining the war when they did, no matter how late it was, the chances of Germany not steamrolling through Europe are slim to none. I'm sorry if you don't agree, I am just sharing my knowledge that I've been taught since I was in the third grade.

Canada didn't have a larger part then America in WWII but it was hardly the americas who won the war. That was the RUSSIANS. It was the Russians who stopped the Nazi advance, the Russians who decimated the German force and started their retreat and the Russians who eventually paved the way to victory in Europe. If Stalin had been taken more iniative instead of just trying to cover his ass, it would have been USSR forces that took Berlin.
The Americans essentialy showed up (in Europe) stepped over the corpses and planted their flag.
There's no clear way to conclusively prove whether the western invasion of Germany or the massive defeat on the Eastern fronts was the actual decisive victory, but i will say this:
Until Stalingrad, the Germans had not been stopped by anybody, anywhere. They had advanced at will over all opposition. It is my opinion that Stalingrad was the turning of the tide.
And dropping the bomb = terrorism. If the Japenese had dropped the bomb on NY and Los Angeles, would you consider it fair?
