I wouldn't want to either... It's going to be a fruitless effort.

Except us.

Oh sure, they'll help after Saddam unleashes chemical weapons:

THEN it would be ok.

in all fairness, I don't think anyone really wants a war, they just mistakenly feel that it's the only option. Not that it makes it any better, but there is a distinction.

If Saddam cared about his people, he would accept Bush's ultimatum and go into exile.

No leader ever wants to go into exile. If the tables were turned, Bush would fight to the bitter end.

A war against Iraq will not be a pot shot against terrorism, but will instead increase the already growing gap between the States and the Islam world. And then you will be in for a big fucking ride.

If the US goes to war, unwilling US citizens are forced to fight or they are "Draft dogers" and arrested.

Too bad our forces are eager to go in there and fight.

Not all people are eager (obviously). There will be people who have to fight unwillingly.

It depends on your definition of "willing." Some days, a person gets up and doesn't want to go to work, but it was still his choice to take the job.

I don't think anybody feels war is the only option, either. There are other options, and at least some of those options have been tried in the past. They would argue that the options we have tried were not achieving the results that they should have, and they believe military action is more likely to achieve the results.
