how come the space between my post and my sig is so much bigger than everyone elses?

Well, I'd have to see it on a longer post... but now looking at it, I think it's cos your sig's so short, and it's aligned to the bottom of the cell where your post is. *wonders if that made any sense to non-computer geeks*

but people with short sigs still have less space in between than me

It's cos Melissa has an avatar and Lori doesn't. The right column stays the same height as the left, unless the post gets longer than it.

the line at the top of your sig will stay at the top of your sig nomater what, and because you have a small sig and a big list of stuf to the left under your acount name it has to put that distance in some where so it just extends your post.

all the stuff under your avatar, including it, add to your post length if you have a small sig.
