				Pop-up program

Okay, this is pissing me off.
There's some program somewhere on my computer that's giving me pop-ups saying that my computer is open to dangerous blah blah blah. And it's got a link to
www.endads.com. Basically I have to buy some anti-popup program to get rid of the pop-up telling me to go to the program's site.
I've searched my comp for anything "endads". Nadda.
I've used Ad-aware, and it didn't get squat done.
I know it's not from a website, because they pop up when I'm not on the computer, and thus not on the net.
HELP!

				if that's the problem then...
if you have administrative rights on your account then go to administrative tools in the control panel, click services, select Messenger, and at the left should be a description...above it select Stop service
if necessary, right click Messenger, select properties, and from Startup Type select "disabled"
restart computer
continue porn surfing

Yeah, it was on "automatic" before, so I guess it started back up when I restarted.

Thanks for the directions. I have that goddamn problem as well. And since I managed to get rid of the blasted blaster worm by myself, I should be able to do this...
I never gave my XP any sort of password cuz I'm the only one who uses this computer.
