thought i would start this thread so those of us who are not mods may weigh in on this.
I would love to go to the festival....trying to work out how. Camping would be key and the campground is accepting emails for sites. This is the only way you can book a sight with them.
hmm havent been to PEI since i was a kid
meet up????

I'd love to, except the 28th is when my flight gets in from London and I'll be in Albany until the 29th. There's no way I'd be able to afford the show after that trip

Blah. I want to go so badly! I miss you people!

Hmmm ....
A 10 gallon fill up with Premium for the Teg would cost roughly $40
35 mpg gives me a limit of 350 miles to the tank.
350 * 4 = 1400
So 4x$40 = $160 x 2 (Return trip) = $320
Oil changes before and after the trip would come out to ~$40
$40 or so worth of tolls in all
That would all equate to one epic road trip.
Buuuuuut ....
While less epic in most of your eyes I'd much rather spend that kind of cash on the 24 Hours of Nelson Ledges race happeing this summer.
On the plus side I would get the entire first week of July off for plant shutdown.
Let's just say: I'll think about it

Just 1500+ miles and 24 hours of driving. Flights alone would cost me just under $700. Less expensive to drive, but I don't have that much time to invest in driving.

Find the time to train and it will pay off.
5 hours here, 10 hours there before you know it you'll be ready for a full 24 hours.

The CM only visits non Toronto locations on the rarest of occasions. You're obligated to be there...if we all go.

You make it sound as if we're a cult or something.

				Hi Lando *waves*
we could car pool. Since matt lives furthest south (unless we convince Holly and her jeep to come) you can swing by the Erie way and pick up Kicker and Megan, come east pick me up, drive along the canadian side pick up Sarah and Saman and continue to the ferry. Sounds like a great road trip of about 48 hours of driving
