Well...looks like after a month of posting, shit has come true!

OUR LADY PEACE

102.1 the Edge presents a free Our Lady Peace performance live in a parking lot at 4pm!
Tickets: Free! 500 fans will receive a wristband & a signed CD booklet when they purchase the new OLP album on August 30 at the Leaside Best Buy @ 147 Laird Dr. Store opens at 10am. Wristband holders will have access to a prime viewing area closer to the stage.

well, they said one wristband per cd purchase. i wonder if you were to buy 2 cd's if they would give you two wristbands...

That's what I gotta do...I'm gonna bring my friend Courtney and give him 20 bucks to buy a CD so he gets a wristband to.

I'm gonna phone them later and ask how it works...if it's a parking lot show what stops random people from being close to?

what i heard, is that pretty much anyone can go to the show, but people with wristbands get to be closer. so, i'm assuming they will have the area closest to the stage barricaded so people without wristbands can't get in

kc, will you hold a place in line for me? i was planning on leaving my house at 8am and it usually take me less than 30 minutes to get to that area. but then again, it's gonna be morning rush hour, so it is gonna end up taking longer.
