And yeah, I was going to post the thing about Danny Williams but I didn't want to start up that arguement again. Everyone here is like "omg Danny's gonna be on Larry King! first we get to the Olympics now we're going to hell with the whole thing!"

The religious thing is a wonderful thing for anyone practicing that religion, I definitely agree... but to put it bluntly... some kids are just plain violent and emotional. Just makes me worry a bit about not only the other students, but the ones carrying the daggers. That's a tough issue cos the kids should be allowed to follow their religion, but it's... a weapon. I honestly don't know how I feel on whether they should have them or not. Just makes me kind of uneasy thinking about the possibilities.

Anyway, Danny Williams looked ready to rip into the two of them at the start of the interview and after listening to if for like 5 minutes, I am too. Haha.

I don't want to debate with you I think there were good points made on both sides, but I think it was clear that the McCartney's know little about the subject (i.e. they know only what they've been fed by whatever protest group they are working with). It's unfortunate that they speak as if they know all, which Williams was really ticked about.

I also thought she was rude... I didn't expect her to be so forward and feisty, constantly interrupting and dominating the conversation by talking over people. Wow.

There's a guy at my work that does that in conversations and it drives everyone nuts... huge pet peeve of mine. He's on the verge of being fired for his poor personal/communication skills.

The dagger thing I think is a great step for Canada. They're allowing it on a case by case basis, and in this instance the guy's a straight A student and very well behaved.

I think it's a great step for us in ensuring all religions freedoms.

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought "Lady Heather" was being completly rude.

And there were a lot of points they made in their arguement that didn't even get answered because they were so greatly wrong on all counts that its hard to correct them on everything. Like They thought seal hunting was just for fur. Erm. I've been served Seal Flipper Pie before. I never went near it and gagged at the idea of eating it, but seals are definately not just used for thier fur. The whole animal is utilized.

But at least Paul was willing to listen to the responses and have a healthy debate. His wife was all "I'M RIGHT AND YOUR WRONG!"

But lets all move on and laugh at the awesomeness that is
