I'd buy Happiness if I hadn't bought Clumsy and Naveed within the span of three days. I went on a CD binge earlier this year, buying all of Great Big Sea's CDs in a week, and I don't want to do the same to OLP. Happiness for my bank account includes not binging.

That's too bad ur not gonna get Happiness rite now but i hope u do get it soon!!! It's a great CD and the lyrics on this cd are...shall i say, powerful and i really feel what Raine was going for...
Anywayz...i soooooo totally love raine's voice! I've never heard anyone else come close to what he does with his voice....it's sweet.
I love his voice in "Not Enough"....when it goes "When they say...." and "When you climb..."
I also like "Are You Sad?" that's such a moving song and the tone of raine's voice was perfect in it.

You rock! I almost did the same thing when I bought all of my GBS CDs, only I'm still missing one (the very first).rustynation wrote:I went on a CD binge earlier this year, buying all of Great Big Sea's CDs in a week, and I don't want to do the same to OLP.

LOL...I know you from somewhere, Emily Jane-- at least two places. And I quite like your first name.Emily Jane wrote:You rock! As for buying Happiness, I can actually afford it, but I want to wait a bit so I can rearrange some banking stuff, such as opening an account with TD so I don't have to pay $5 US whenever I use the ATM in Canada (y'all call it the ABM, evidently).

Thanks, Emily.
The show wasn't wonderful, but hey, the band told us where they'd be afterwards and I used that information wisely.
I think every single bar band I heard in Saint John had a lead singer that sounded like Raine.

I was actually making fun of Raine while waiting for my friend to finish her conversations with Great Big Sea, but I've now seen them so much that I can wait for Alan Doyle to finish his conversation and then he'll come grab me in a one-armed hug to talk to me. I think he appreciates the fact that I enjoy myself so much at shows.Bananababy wrote:ahh thats awesomerustynation wrote:Thanks, Emily.

Ask him. He'll probably oblige. But of course you'll have to either wait out by the buses or somehow get backstage. (I've never done either). But yeah, he's really nice to fans.Emily Jane wrote:
