All The Hour episodes are archived online... I'm not sure if it's blocked for US IP addresses or not, but if it is, one of us will rip it for you guys.

Probably very compressed versions though? Capturing the cable stream on a DVR and transferring to a computer is much bette, or a VHS transferred to computer, is better quality than a lot of the online media I've seen.

That'd be awesome! If the DVD burner has video/audio quality settings on the DVD burner be sure to turn them up to the maximum (LPCM or PCM audio and whatever is the highest bitrate/quality of video). Thanks!!

Well, the special is being played again on December 24. It originally airs on the 21 though.MsCarson79 wrote:Its actually on the 21st, OLPs Tweet was wrong. And its not live, I just saw a very short clip of Raine singing Elvis! A must see for sure!Strong Alibi wrote:Hmm, didn't know they played all those before. Still, it's been quite a while for most of them!
According to OLP's Twitter, it looks like they are going to be part of The Hour's Holiday special on December 24, on CBC! That should be interesting. I wonder if it will be live... you wouldn't expect the guys to be away from their families on Holiday Eve.
...oh so many George posts to reply to. This is what Internet heaven must be like.

i should be able to spell it lol.. i used to be able to in fact.. a friend of mine worked with him basically so yeah.. used to talk about him all the time.. hence i made things easier on myself and referred to im as george snuffleupagusShanae wrote:Stroumboulopoulos. Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

This is an interview with OLP from 2002, right after Gravity was released. I found it so funny at about 2:40 when the interviewer asks Raine why Gravity was so different than Spiritual Machines, and Raine literally says "that album was so heavy, so intricate and became overshadowed by the book (The Age of Spiritual Machines). I don't want to hear about that book for another 10 years".... well, looks like he really meant 10 years!! Maybe we've finally found out the reason for this tour!
LOL
EDIT: Here's another of them playing at House of Blues in 2001 (which is interesting cause they just played there a few months ago)
