Is Chris Carrabba really the only person you've ever seen play acoustic guitar by himself (or herself)? That's not at all what made him unique. Don't get me wrong, I love(d) the solo acoustic dashboard, but the full band is awesome as well.

I considered everything about him to make him unique. He was always packaged as "The guy from FSF with an acoustic guitar." I don't know, I guess I always like him doing his stuff alone better. Now with a band, it just seems like FSF again.

ok, that's understandable. I just didn't understand how playing acoustic guitar solo was "unique."

I listen to DC even when I'm not sad. There are fun songs.
I don't know anything that makes him unique...I just like him them as a package.
And they were way good on Letterman last night, even though he kind of looked embarassed.

Watch Letterman tonight because a better band, The New Amsterdams, will be on. If you like The Get Up Kids, you'll like this, because it has the lead singer from TGUK in it.

I've seen him once. He was the last opening act before OLP, and it was really hot that day, it was bad. The crowd was getting crazy and throwing shit, and he started yelling at the crowd. It was funny. Like I am going to listen to a 5'7 guy anyway. He is a damn nice guy though.
