Holy crap I love my mp3 player. After letting it dry out for 2 days it now works again. This is amazing.

My laptop drank coffee about 6 months ago and didn't die Thank goodness, because it belongs to my employer!

Today I realized how much gum I normally chew in a day... being at work on my first day with braces today I kept reaching for my drawer to grab a piece of gum Not being able to chew gum was the worst part of my day (that, and a coworker jokingly calling me "brace-face" every 20 minutes). I'm sure I had nasty breath since I drink so much coffee and couldn't have gum... I'll have to find some mints.

I never listened to the no gum rule...I never had a problem. At the very least, you should be able to chew sugar free gum.

I think I will be able to once the initial soreness calms down.

Freedent always worked well for me when I had braces.

the house finale confused me. and i missed the very last line, so i'm rewatching it on a different channel in a different time zone. it seemed very important, and my ears crapped out on me on that final line...

kathy, you have a choice of Freedent, Juicy Fruit (all types), and Dentyne (probably all types, but i've only tried Tango). maybe some others too, but those are the ones that are tried and true.

stay away from all Trident chewing gum and all bubble-blowing gum like Hubba Bubba or whatever OR YOU'LL BE SORRY it's not fun getting stuff stuck in braces especially something sticky.

i also never follow the no gum/chewy candy rule. but stay away from really tough chewy candy like year-old licorice sticks...i pulled out a wire once eating that.

i just spent 3.5 hours reading. all the energy in me is drained.

I actually did pull one of those thing right off my tooth about a month before I got them off with a blow pop.
