Wow, I just stuck my foot so far in my mouth it's not even funny. Me and my friend were talking and I mentioned the movie War of the worlds. Then I asked her if she'd seen it, and she said she hadn't but she had planned to see it, back when it came out with her mom. Only thing is her mom died suddenly of a heart attack back when the movie was out. I didn't even know what to say when she told me she had been planning to see it with her mom. Now I'm fairly sure I've upset her, because the conversation seems so much more forced. Fuck!
