Work sucked tonight so bad. I work at a coffee shop, and it's usually pretty relaxed, they don't mind if you eat if no one's ordering, that kind of deal. The job I hate most is bakery, which is going downstairs into the store room and getting peices of frozen cake and then putting them in containers and stuff. It's a fairly extensive process, so it takes me a while.

I was supposed to take my break at 5:30-7:00 (split-shift), but I was pretty busy until 5:20, but I wanted to make sure I got bakery done before I left. It always takes me at least half an hour, and the other person working is supposed to make sure I start it on time. But she didn't. Plus there was SO many cakes to bring up, so by the time I got out of there, it was after 6. Instead of thanking me for giving up half an hour of my break, which i don't get paid for, she got mad at me for not being quick enough with bakery. Then for the rest of the night, she kept telling me I was being slow and useless and terrible at my job, when I wasn't doing anything slower than usual. We finished closing EARLIER than usual, and she told me, "Sorry yannic, you just weren't on your game tonight."

FUCK. I seriously feel like quitting because of this one night.

Oh man.

So me and Melissa worked extra long last night... but got to work together the whole time... and got three half hour breaks instead of one half hour and two 15 minute breaks. Oh, and we get paid for breaks.

Hah.

Regardless... I want my life back.
