I thought I had a copy of Man of Action live, but it turns out it's actually the Fall of Man - which is even better

You know listening to Rooms has really given me a new found appreciation for Audio of Being. I always loved that CD, but now after revisiting it I think I can say that the red headed step child of the MGB catalog is probably my favorite CD by Matt to date.
I know Matt and the rest of the band have a lot of issues with how the final product turned out, but to me it's the most cohesive, eclectic batch of songs the band ever produced. While I like some songs more than others, I can't say I dislike or am even indifferent to any of them. It's a shame that Matt neglected to include any of the AoB singles on the first disc of In a Coma (especially since he included Rico, a song he has expressed a strong personal dislike for), but if the trade off was 3 AoB re-visions on "Rooms" than I think I'll live. I just wish he'd take more pride in that record and incorperate more of the material in his live shows, cause to me (and I think to many other MG fans) it's a classic.

It is so hard for me to decide between Beautiful Midnight and Audio of Being. At first, it was a definite BM victory, but after a while, AOB really grew on me. The whole feeling of the cd is just eerie and dark and all of the songs are simply chilling.

Song for song AoB is better, but taken as a whole, I think BM has a more complete, satisfying flow.

Hmmm... I don't know. AOB has a very dark and unique feeling to it. BM is more a group of songs that were ordered in the right way.

BM is very dark and unique. It is kind of the median between the song structures of Underdogs and AOB.

My sister stole my Underdogs for more than a YEAR, and finally decided today would be a good day to give it back.
I forgot some of these songs existed, man!

Less than a month until matthew, in all his beauty, reaches little ol vernon bc.
I bet there's going to be NO one there, which will be cool and annoying at the same time. There's nothing worse than going to a concert of a band you absolutly love, and someone you don't like or respect being there. Come to think of it, I just generally don't like olp/mg shows in my own town. It feels like something so private, my love for the artists, is being shared with people that don't deserve it. God I'm selfish.
Maybe if there's few enough people there I'll actually get to meet him. I never have before, never come close. I just would have nothing to say, because he is a man that I so honestly respect. "You're so awesome!!!1!" just doesn't cut it.

Yeah me, and one of my friends are determined to meet him, she's not a huge fan of his, but she likes him, and loves his political aspect
