				Wow, totally never noticed that.
It's that "Hopeless romantic the city ..." (I can never catch the rest of that) part in the middle of Headwreck that shows up as the chorus of Covered in Grey.
Are we sure it's the same lyric? Since I can't make it out in either song after "city" I can't be sure, but it sounds like it!

You can first hear it at 1:48ish, and then Joel says it a few more times towards the end.
He says "Hopeless romatic, the cynic (can't understand next word, possibly "the saint"?), the one who's misfortune is covered in grey."
EDIT- It may be city, but it kinda sounded like cynic to me.

I know that those are the actual lyrics in Covered in Grey, but from what I can hear, they're a bit altered in Headwreck.

I've never been able to hear the words "kill the" -- I know they're in the written lyrics, maybe they're drowned by the instruments in the studio version. I'm pretty sure they're left off when played live as well.
The bit in Headwreck is a little different but definitely another version of the same lyric.
But what is Joel singing in Pleased?

				"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeed"
I think the talking in the background may have been shouting out instructions to the other guys and they just left it in because it sounds cool.

Ugh, they really do need to get their butts out here. It really bugs me that I've still never seen half of the band members play live!

You're partially correct... Joe is in fact an official band member.

But yeah, no Kane. He was nice. And I will never ever forget the elevator incident.

Pedestrian now is Blair, Joe, Joel and Zak..
They are all amazing guys.
I am a little lost here. WHo was Kane. I remember when I saw them in T. O the drummer was named Micheal. I pretty much seen all incarntions of Pedestrian.
It is hard for them to come out here cause they are still unknown outside of the L. A area.. Sad cause I think they are a talented bunch of musicans. I wish others would take notice..

I've thought about emailing my local radio station (it's a few blocks from my house) about them, linking their MySpace, website, and possibly the Ghostly Life and Sidegeist Last.FM pages. I doubt the station would do anything though.

You have to listen really closely to hear the "Kill the-". I've listened to the song numerous times and just now heard it since the volume was cranked up, he just quietly whispers it.
