				Yeah, that would go over well...

I've decided to jump on them tomorrow morning. I'll try my mom first, while she's packing and all stressed that she might forget something (she's always like that before trips). She'll probably say "fine, I don't care. but your father won't want to listen to it". Then, I'll go to my dad with the added argument that mom doesn't care, and that I'll be distracted by his music, etc...
Then I'll say "I just want to listen to one CD anyways". Then I'll pop in the 77 minute Live CD! HAH!

				Depends on if you drive like my dad or like me.
Me = about 3 hours
Dad = about 2.5 hours
I might not drive all the way there though, depending on traffic and whether or not I want to continue.

				Whoever is the driver should have control of the radio,
I despised driiving anywhere with my folks. My dad always had to have the country station on

  My mom always had to have the oldies station on

It sucked ass

				My parents are indifferent on the music. Who ever's riding shotgun get stereo privilages.
Though my parents favour my CDs over my brother's because they're actual songs that don't drop the N-Bomb and shit every few seconds.

				so this 401 is a freeway?
I agree, if he wants you to drive to Toronto, tell him that you won't unless you can listen to something that won't drive you mad at the same time.
I sometimes have this problem w/ my mom. She likes classic rock and Van Halen, Def Leppard, etc. Which I like, but she freaks out sometimes when I give her the exuse that she uses: I'm the driver. When I'm the driver, she's the owner. Then when I tell her she doesn't actually own any more than me, she flips out even more.

nothing like blaring Chubby Checker going through downtown

				I have an idea!
Duct tape your parents and throw them in the back! Use plenty to ensure they don't escape. Then pay someone else to untape them so you can get a head start before they beat you down.

				ah the joys of having hip parents. My mom listens to alot of lite rock, and new music, excluding rap( good

 ) and my dad is classic rock and new rock, they both don't mind olp and can listen to it and somewhat enjoy it. Not to mention i think i melted my dad heart when he came downstairs yesterday when he heard Led Zep playing and noticed it was me playing it.

				My parents think Matchbox 20 is a heavy metal band. It wasn't till I showed them *real* heavy metal till they understood that MB20 isn't metal. If that made any sense whatsoever.... =D
