tv was the only source pretty much
i mean
sure
people had the "internet"
but it was all dialup
it was bad times
a good computer was a 486!

You're not exactly much older than me. :P We didn't tend to follow TV for our trends/slang and stuff... it just spread from... god knows where. But TV was always the last to know. :P

Sand my dear - once again you are showing your youth. No-one had the internet when I was at school. Not even dial up. I was the first person I knew to get it and that was after I left!
