I saw Sloan last night in Chicago. I am seeing them tonight in Detroit.
And then... I'm going to go through a huge withdrawal.

Not at all recent, but back in February I saw Guster, along with some band I've never heard of. Plus, June 23 I'm seeing Guster and Ben Folds. Wheeee.

I'm not sure about that. I saw Styx for free a few years ago and they didn't play that song.

My last concert was Jars of Clay in Seattle. Not my kind of music, but I got to try out my new recording equipment and get material to trade for a new OLP show at the same time.
Here's a recording if anyone wants to hear what my equipment can do, I think it turned out good for a first attempt:

				I'm pulling a double-concert tomorrow.
4:30 - Murder By Death at The Shelter in Detroit.
7:00 - The Von Bondies at Clutch Cargo's in Pontiac
This will be great, and one hell of a drive.

I just saw Velvet Revolver ( the group made up of Scott Weiland, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dave Kushner, and Matt Sourm)
It was incredible. I am a big Matt, Slash and Duff afan so it was great to see them playing together again. plus I realy like Scott.
I am seeing Matt Good Next( maybe offspring on Tueday)

I didn't know the junkie got out of rehab already.
How long until he goes back? Four months, tops.

I hate Thrice. TGUK were ok but eh. Val Whimmer or whatever they're called was good, I want to look into them. And Dash, that was the best DC I've been to.

I'd like to see both bands, but then I'd be accused of jumping on the "cool" bandwagon.

yeah Scott has some serious problems. Although sometimes he's oretty talented, it's a lot of hit and miss
