I didn't but it. At the Prince concert last week, we got his new CD(Musicology) with entry. When you bought tickets we were told you would get the cd at the show. That is a great idea, along with being able to buy the show. That is the new thing now. Buying the concert you just attended. Unforntunataly it hasn't caught on with all artist.

Oh shit. I went away for a weekend, and that means I spent lots of money on music.
Fred Thomas - I Heard The Angels Sing
Les Savy Fav - Go Forth
Neutral Milk Hotel - Everything Is
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One
I also got a shitload of 7" but those aren't really cds.
And the best part about buying the Fred Thomas cd is I found it at this record store in Ann Arbor called Encore. I found it in there (on a cd-r because his old label was poor) and bring it up to the register, and he's sitting there. He works there and yeah, he rung up my cd. God, it's fucking awkward to buy a cd by the guy who is sitting behind the counter. He was shocked someone picked it up and that he has fans.
Anyways, it was odd, but worth mentioning.

Where's that store? I go to Ann Arbor every once in awhile to go record shopping.

Oh, I can't remember the specific street it was on...I'm fairly sure it was State Street. It's by the State Theater. That's the best I can tell you, really.
The store is a mess though. There's so many used cd's and vinyl that you don't know where to begin. I had to go there four times before I got the jist of the store well enough to find an album. And once I did, it was a great store.
You should check out School Kids, Underground, and Wazoo. Those places make me happy because they're ever-so-indie.

yeah, when i walked into encore i was like, this store is the biggest piece of crap i've ever seen. anyway, that just means they have a ton of cd's so that's cool. plus, i've sold many cd's there so that makes me like it even more.

I went to one last year that was on the second story of a store or something. They had quite a bit of nice vinyl.
