A lot of programs that contain adware really mess up your system. They will link you to places you dont want to go, give you lots of pop-ups and can even force you to use certain search engines.

Definately get an ATI video card and DDR RAM.
Now that that's decided (I talked to him on MSN, don't argue people), he needs help with a mainboard.

I agree with the Card and RAM choice so im not gonna argue that even if i could.
If your really into things "sounding nice" i'd go for any one fo the Creative Lab sound cards. If you just want awesome sound for games and so on the Creative Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 is perfect seeing as its fairly cheap. However if you plan on doing more than just playing games with your PC/ sound card you can go for the "Creative SB Audigy 2ZS Platinum Retail". Its very expensive but comes loaded with options for sound recording and so on.
Cheers

i need help. my forensics professor is a moron. she puts up the powerpoint slides on adobe. anyway, i want to print out the slides, but it will only let me print out one slide on one sheet of paper and there are about 50 slides per presentation and about 10 presentations. so, does anyone know how i can print about six slides on a page? or how i can open up the presentation in powerpoint? hellllllllp me. please. i'm desperate. i need these for the midterm next week.

In Adobe, If you go to Print Setup then Properties, under Layout it asks you how many pages you want per sheet.Just click 6.

i can't find print setup. but when i go to print, there is a properties button, and when i push it, there is no layout option. there are options for paper, halftoning, document type, printing mode/options, image settings and about. but no layout.
