Also, is there a way to mute whatever the noise in the background of the site is, at least for the duration of the video?

i like the instruments on this little snippet more then any of them on hipt, there was something about hipt that i didn't like instrumentally

Two things: Firefox and the Flashblock add-on. You don't have to hear the background noise unless you want to.
