Er, So yeah, I figure tonnes of people are going, just, is anyone from this neck of the cyberwoods going I'd be at the Houston show, but there's no way I could afford the 130 buck per pit ticket price. So I'm driving out to Austin. So yeah, what says ya'll? (and I havn't the slightest clue if this is, or isn't my first post considering I've been forum hopping like mad lately)

Austin will be a better show, unless you wanted to see the other bands at the festival. There are lots of bigger bands than OLP playing at the festival in Houston, they'd probably only get 30-40 minutes to play there, which means they're gonna cut out a lot of the songs that they'll be doing in Austin.

Yeah that's what I had figured, the first few Buzzfests we're ok, but lately, when a band I really love is there, it's more letdown than anything, so I tend to see if there is another show they're doing in Houson at a later date, or in maybe in Austin or San Antonio. More than that, I'm thinking Stubbs is gonna be really nice with how small a venue it is, comparativly anyway.
But yeah, 130 or so for pit tickets, they had crap seats for like 30 bucks, but I can't like a concert unless I can get relativly close. That's why when they toured with 3 Doors Down a while ago I was happy to have gotten pit ticekts and not seats. Made the show that much better (well that and the cute girl in front of me ;p)
i'm think about going to the Austin Show too. it's only 20 bucks at stubbs. i'm trying to convince my buddy from Houston to go too. is it on the 20th or the 22nd? i thought buzzfest was on the 22nd. eh, i'll check out the stubbs site. but yeah man, hopefully i'll be there, U of H in the House!!!!

Yeah, the show is the 20th in Austin, they come down 290 for Buzzfest on the 22nd :p but by that point in time I'll be celebrating a few birthdays with few friend and I won't know anything at that point
Rumor is this show was cancelled too. If you're planning on going, you might want to call the venue first and check. I hope everything is alright with the band's families.
