say you've got a girlfriend but you, for whatever reason, have somehow managed to completely fall for somebody else.

isn't that worse then just going and fucking somebody else?

i mean, sure you haven't touched the other person. But if sometimes you'd rather be with the new person then the one you're with, isn't that a form of cheating?

opinions? what you rather have, your boyfriend/girlfriend engaging in a meaningless fling or falling hard for somebody else but not getting physical with them?

If she falls in love with someone else, and outta love with you, you shouldn't stand in the way of her being happy. If she just meaninglessly cheats on you, I'd try to talk it out, and see if she is sincerely repentant, if not, drop her like a bad habit.

they both mean that you need to question your relationship

meaningless fling = something's going on with the physical aspect of your relationship, or your partner wouldn't go and have sex with another man/woman

falling hard for another person = another problem...maybe you two don't have the same feelings about each other anymore. this happens.

i once fell majorly for one of my boyfriend's good friends.
it was like you said. we never had a physical relationship, or anything more than a friendship, but i felt like we had a connection and i really liked him.
nothing ever came of it.
my boyfriend and I are still together. i still see the other boy and i am still friends with him. but i realized how much i care about the boy i have and i don't want anyone else.

I guess you gotta weigh the situation. I mean...if you don't feel the same about the person then you've gotta question whether you should be together. But love is something you gotta work at. Other people come in and out, but you gotta remember why you fell in love. Uhm. Listen to me, Mrs. Never Been in Love.

Never having been in love probably allows you to see it most clearly. It's when you're in the thick of it that it all gets blurry.

I think if your love falls for someone else, it's pretty much a deal breaker, but I wouldn't say that it's worse than cheating.

If you don't act on it, then there's nothing wrong. Everyone thinks wrongs things.
