war on terrorism's been going for 2+ years. do you feel any safer?

is it your opinion that the threat of terrorism world wide is reduced?

do you think the "war" and implied concequence have helped to deter "future terrorists"? do you think that the issues that cause people to become terrorists have been addressed adequately?

and what do you think the number one cause of terrorism is today? has this changed in your opinion since 9/11?

I think that since terrorism is in the media so much more now, people have lost a lot of security that they once had. (i.e. When we talk about increased airplane security people don't think "oh this plane is going to be a lot safer now!" they will think something like "oh no! what could happen? they can't get everyone") If anything it SEEMS like this war is calling out all terrorists to see what they can do. Which isn't smart. Though its likely that global terrorism hasn't increased, we are certainly more aware of it now.
Its almost like terrorism has become the latest fashion trend.
