What will you do?

I've asked this at alot of other boards I've been on, but this one has more young people on it. So what do you do now to make money, if anything. And what do you want to do when you "grow up". I'm really struggling to decide and kind of want to strike out on my own business sometime, or freelance. I kind of just like to find out what people do and what they plan to do.

i do nothing now.. i really should, but i have a hellish semester at school, and no work ethic so i dont feel like handling a job on top of it.
in the future i dont want to do anything. which is scary, cause there's always something for people to at least lean toward, but i dont like any career that i'm aware exists. so for now i'm keeping my option's opened, and might go to school for engineering but it sounds like more work than i want to commit myself to.

I want to....maybe open a small bussiness in my first few years out of high school. Then I dont know. I can barely think past high school, let alone University.

Yeah, I have that same problem. It's scary that there is nothing that I want to do.

I don't do anything... yes, I'm 21 years old, don't go to college (and never did, unless you count 2 months for an "adult" course), and live with my mommy. We're running out of money, though... soooooooooo, I'm gonna be working (hopefully, if everything goes to plan and places actually see my certification and think it's enough, regardless of the fact that I've never had a "real" job before) in the web design industry. But I don't wanna.

I like being a lazy bum. Having endless freetime rules. *sigh*

Hmmm...well right now I dont have a job, and I dont really want one all through high school. I might work as a camp councilor in the summer but that'll be my limit. I guess you can kinda say I have a job right now, I want to be a writer when I "grow up" and last year I wrote a novel and I'm starting another one again this year. But I dont get paid for it (well, not yet anyway, hopefully that may change). If writing doesnt go as I planned then I'll probably end up being a teacher.

right now i go to university full time and have 2 part time jobs (but both jobs are really flexible so i take a lot of time off). after university i want to go into teaching, probably a special needs teacher or maybe not. Maybe I’ll get my masters first, I’m still not sure if I even want to get my masters. I’m minoring in pysch so I was thinking of getting my masters in that. I don’t know. I'm still not 100% sure what i want to do but i do know i'll be working with children.

Currently I do not have a job. I am too busy with dance (8 hours a week) and homework and volleyball which is just starting. Im going to wait untill the summer. But my parents give me money when I need it, so I guess Im well off.
First of all, I am the kind of woman who always wants to work and be independant. Being a stay at home mom is not my thing.
I want to be successful and make alot of money and control the amount of money I make.
I have a few jobs in mind.
1) A surgeon....not alot of people have the skill, therefore u make alot of money. Im also really into helping other people and saving lives....it would be rewarding.
2) A Consultant.
3) Start my own business....im not sure what type of business....but I still have time to figure that out

Man..... when I was little, I had my heart set on becoming a doctor......ad ER doc to be precise. Thats not going to happen now though
Since I can't accomplish that, I wanna own my own cyber cafe

I can't stand being told what to do.
One good thing for is that I am, right now, a musician as well

I currently don't work because of university, but I am still employed at KFC which I've been working at for 2 years.
I'm kinda unsure exactly what I want to do but I know it will be in the field of psych. It's a pretty broad field, so I guess it's just a matter of what interests me as the years go on.

I have a looong way to go before I gotta worry about careers and stuff..
Next year I'll probably be getting a McJob, just for some extra spending money.
When I 'grow up' I want to be a CSI. Not only is it fascinating, but in most cases you're putting sickos behind bars and I figure I'll get a lot of satisfaction out of that.
If that doesn't pan out, I want to do something with video games. Like, design them and whatnot. I

video games.

Well... i'm in my last year of high school then i would like to go to either Western or Toronto to study political science or business to become a lawyer... If I don't do either of those, I'd like to go to Seneca College to become a golf course superintendent

Within the last 2 weeks I have been told by 3 different people on different occasions that I need to do something in the music industry. Don't think that I am going to be a rockstar or anything like that because I can't play or sing unless you count drums. I want to open a recording studio or something crazy like that.
I have also been told to open a radio station.

Yeah...I always dreamed about having my own label or something cool along those lines. The problem is, that takes a massive amount of capital and shit.
