It makes him a disgrace to humanity. His racist comments negate his talent, just like Madonna's hipocracy negates her talent. His philosophy has paints his true picture. Hes despicable and doesn't deserve anymore attention.

No, I'm sorry, but opinions and abilities are two separate things. I'm sure there are many people out there who think your opinions are despicable, but you have just as much right to have your achievements acknowledged as anyone else.

So if a member of the KKK has great musical talents we should praise him for his music even though he is a racist piece of trash? Sorry I don't see why someone like that should be recognized. I don't care who they are!

frankly i would have considered that sentence to be quite the compromise and peace offering with you. But i guess even when compromising and meeting you in the middle i'm wrong

Well if thats what you meant I'm sorry. I took the tone to be condesending. Racism is everywhere, to me you made it sound like musicians and leftists were rarely guilty of wrong doing.

which is no more racist then Rush Limbaugh's remarks about McNabb.
In fact, depending on your political viewpoint, you might even be inclined to agree with the man. Ask a palestinian whose home was run over by an israeli bulldozer how he feels about the jews.

my point is that i don't think the comment was racist.
if he had said it in reference to the americans, for instance, would you consider it racist?
it was inappropriate, sure, but not racist.
