If I ever hear the word Islam used in accordance with Al Qaeda again I'm gonna puke. Its obvious that they are not members of Islam. Anyone that can use the Koran as a trap to kill people OF Islam IS NOT a member of that religion! These guys are despicable and have no right to live!

You know, I am going to disagree with you here, but hear me out on this one.

They are members of Islam. They're just fucking psychotic members of Islam. They practice the religion, but when they're given the option of selling opium, staying poor, or joining al-Qaeda and receive food and water, they choose the safest one, which is being a radical. They practiced and still do practice Islam when they're in their training camps, it's just that in order to get food from the camp, they have to be these kinds of radicals. Yes, it's their choice, and I agree when you say they're despicable, but they still believe in Islam.

It's like saying the BJP in India isn't Hindu because they're fucked up. They're very radical Hindus that like to slaughter innocent Muslims, but they still practice the preachings of the religion.

They're still despicable people, but you can't question their faith based on their actions. I mean, you know the Qua'ran does condone killing for the faith, and as lame of a reason to attack innocents as that may be, it's still a part of their beliefs.

Even if they are breaking the most important Christian rule.......IN GODS NAME. I don't get how they think commiting the greatest sin of your gods holy book in his name is going to some how please him. But look at me i've gotten myself all sidetracked

every religion has a couple of nut jobs that kill in their gods name. Even today Christians are killing folk in their god's name.

Well, you have to realize that is the exact way the religion spread. It was either you converted to Islam or a group of Mongols would cut your head off. This is their past, and they're proud of it.

Now there's a man saying to appease God, the same God that willed them to go around killing thousands of people to spread His word, that the people should go around killing the oppressors of Islam. Of course there are going to be Muslims that think killing in the name of the book is right. If not for killing the name of hte book, odds are, these people wouldn't be Muslims.

And one more thing you have to realize. You and I both complain that the majority of the people in the US are ignorant to most everything. But we also have readily available books, kids that are forced to go to school until they turn 16, and even the media (even though it sucks) to tell people about everything that happens. What do those people in Afghanistan have? Schooling isn't mandatory, books aren't that easy to be found, the books they do have get rewritten by every leader's regime to spin it a certain way, and their one major form of media is ran by the man all Americans hate. These people don't know any better. They're told on a daily basis that killing Americans is beneficial and what God wants. They're going to believe what is told to them on a daily basis. This is their way of life. That's just how it is.

And just to let you know, no I am not defending the actions of what these people do by any means at all. I am just saying this is their reality.

I agree with what you said, but when these terrorists (radicals, call them what you will) plot to kill other muslims with their own holy book, what message does that send them? What is their justification for killing them? Their targets were not Americans they were Arabs on a pilgrimage to Mecca, the holiest city to Muslims!
