Anyone else appalled at the blatent Ronald Reagan lies in the CBS miniseries that airs next month? Just more proof of the lengths some people will go to to help their cause. The producer of the series even admits that there is no proof that President Reagan made comments even remotely similar to the ones he is portrayed to have in the movie. CBS should remove that scene before airing it or at least not promote it as a true docudrama.

Elizabeth Egloff, a playwright who wrote the final version of the script, acknowledged there was no evidence such a conversation took place. But, she said, "we know he ducked the issue over and over again, and we know she was the one who got him to deal with it."

That is only one of the MANY inaccuracies in the series. I hope CBS gets sued for this.

Do we know any of the supposed "quotes" that are falsified in this movie? It's just an honest question, I would like to see how they're spinning this movie.

He won the Cold War.
We should replace the Statue of Liberty with this:

Oh, and can we please stop spelling his name wrong?
It's Reagan people!

Calm down guys, I was *mostly* kidding. Although, the USSR didn't ONLY collapse on its own. He won without dropping thousands of bombs. Reagan is very peaceful and always looks to solve tensions without conflict.
He also was for very low taxes and fixed the economic slump created by the Carter administration.
What kind of things did he do that weren't so great?
