There is a breaking story out of the University of Central Florida that an American flag was torn to shreds on campus along with dozens of others stolen. The school has not condemed this act of hate and has givin no comment on the situation. There is also no investigation ongoing. I pose this question......if it had been a "rainbow", a Martin Luthur King Jr. , or Palestinian flag that was destroyed do you think there would be an ongoing hate crime investigation??? I bet there would, but why not when the symbol of our country and freedom is destroyed no one cares?? This is a prime example of how screwed up some people in this country are.

I am looking for another link for this but UCF has taken down the photo of the flag and accompanying story because of the criticizim that they are getting for not acting on it. Typical cowards.

Yeah, you're perfectly correct on this. They should say or do something about the whole situation and not be jackasses and let this go. It's great how you can call someone gay, or use the incorrect term for calling someone black or African-American or whatever their word of the hour is, and you're under intense scrutiny, but when it comes to destroying the symbol of our country, people just let it go. Fantastic.

yeah that's a bit much for me, even anti-patriotic slogans and signs are acceptable to me in some situations, but this is just disrespectfull and taking it to far to me
