THE US TRIED BUT THE TERRORISTS RUINED THE ROADMAP BY DISOBEYING THE CEASEFIRE!!!! Its a one way street with these idiots. They want Israel to cease to exist and will stop at nothing less.

A resolution needs to be put in place that says the next side to kill the other will get what they deserve with the backing of the UN. That means if a terrorist strikes Israeli's the Israel's have the right to go in with guns blazing and vice versa. Who do you think would flinch first. We already had that answer a couple months ago when the roadmap broke down. This needs to be settled once and for all, but it will show that peace only comes with victory. This is only gonna be settled in conflict.

When I started reading this I thought that is was gonna be a balenced article on the situation (surprised since the Wash. Post has been all over the Bush admin. about Iraq and never sides with them) until I got to this part:
Under terms of the road map, Israel at this stage is supposed to begin easing the hardships of Palestinians and stop building settlements.
What they neglect to tell people is that before this stage the Palestinian authority was supposed to crackdown on terrorist groups and condem any terrorist actions. The first stage also said that terrorist actions MUST cease for the plan to move forward. This stage was abandoned by the Palestinians in August. The casual reader may not know what the roadmap says and when an article comes out stating what Israel SHOULD be doing at this stage it makes them look like they are going against the plan when in reality it was the Palestinians that broke their end of the bargain.
