I'd like to see some pictures describing this (no, not in a dirty way), because I really can't picture what they mean...

remember that time those harvard guys built that giant snow penis and those chicks tore it down because "a woman shouldn't have to be subjected(:wtf:) to a penis on her way to class"?
i think that's what would happen to your penis. penis sculpture, that is.
and i thought they already decided stonehenge was a clock or a calender or some such shit.

What is sadder about this? The fact these people are all up in arms like that, or the fact that it took HUNDREDS OF YEARS for someone to realize, "Hey, it's a hole, therefore it must be a vagina, and it degrades women everywhere," and bitch about it?

Where in the article were they bitching or up in arms? They just said it was a fertility structure.

OK, I over-exaggerated, but still, my post was to point out it took scientists hundreds of years to slap the sexual connotation to it. I'd have figured that sucker out in about 13 seconds.

Freud seemed more obsessed with the other sexual organ...

yeah but still, if a tower, stick, gun, etc. represents the male um organ then it only stands to reason that any kind of depression, hole, lake, enclosed formation, etc. represents the female counterpart.
