I let no false statement go unchallenged.

Bush has not done this. This was between 1962 and 1973, when Kenndy, Lyndon, and Nixon were presidents. So the "pot, kettle, black" comparison does not stand.

Nice try, though.

uh kinda unrelated, but i just read your signature Narbus and i love it!
one question though, you were pro war were you not? and if so, you relize that america was trying to build a better world for people in the middle east right?

1. The sig does sum up quite a bit of what I believe, in a rather wonderful way, yes. :)

2. Actually I was more anti-doug than pro-war.

3. Honestly I thought the war was bad. Had we gone in there with some proof of Saddam killing his people and under the mission of saving the people of Iraq, then it may have been different. But the whole "WMD, blah blah blah" thing was such a stupid reason for what happened...ecch.

Also I don't like Bush, and am inherently distrustful of his motives in any situation. Given that he pretty much lied to the American people about the war, well.

I don't wanna sound like an idiot but... could someone explain the "pot kettle black"... I'm kinda unfamiliar with it as I've never heard it used before.

the phrase is "that's like the pot calling the kettle black" wherein, both are black. it indicates hypocrisy.

ohhhh ok makes sense... see my pots are silver so and my kettle is white... so I guess that could be why I never understood it.

thanks!

Umm, yeah. The "pot, kettle, black" comment doesn't work here, because it wasn't Bush doing it. :wtf:
