Alright, this is urgent, if anyone can help. I need common examples of solutions, solids liquids and gases, and I need lots of 'em, by tonight. So far I've got.
Steel (regular, stainless, and galvanized)
Air
Bronze
Brass
Gold, silver, and platinum jewelry
Sea water
Carbonated water
Alcoholic beverages
Vinegar
Fruit drinks
Gasoline
Anti-freeze
Windshield-wiper fluid
Pop

Solutions are homogeneous, mixtures aren't.

pool water is not a mixture
if you took many samples of pool water
it would have different amounts of chlorine in it

Yeah, it'd have to have the same amount of chlrine throughout it to be a solution.

i just did a chemistry project on pool water and the additives (chlorine etc) are dissolved into it, therefore it is a solution.

Yeah.
Mixtures are when there are distinctly separate parts, such as salsa.
