oh, and if you're thinking of coming here and you're from out of state...you're looking at like 25-30,000

that's like the income of some people I know.

College or University? My college tuition was under $2500 but now it will be between $2500 and $3000 per year. Then add books and rent and food and fun money on top of that .. University you'll be paying a lot more :)

Well, it is approximately $26,000 a year I think.

We are on quarter system so divide that by 3 and you get the price per quarter. (You generally don't take classes over the summer)

My degree costs about $100,000 because it is a 5 year major.

but i'm at a community college right now, and i'm paying a little over 1,000 mostly because i'm out of district...at a community college in my own town :freak:

fortunately I received a lot of financial aid, and a few scholarships (so little, it is barely worth mentioning), and my work is paying for my last year. The rest is loans which totals around $25,000 which I'll be paying off for the next 20 years.

It costs so fucking much for me to go to this school, and I am always worrying about having enough to pay for room and board, and I can't go out and have fun that much because all my money goes toward this lovely university I attend.

And I worked as hard as I possibly could last summer and I was 1500 short of what I needed for this year. I had to ask my mom for it and it tore me apart.

I want some wealthy oakland county family to adopt me.

I usually pay about 4500 per semester at University of NC at Charlotte, but that includes tuition, books, my apartment, and food... i only pay the school about 1500 a semester...

Schools in the southern US usually charge less than those in the north when comparing universities... unless you are out of state, then it gets ridiculous.

my friend wanted to go to harvard, but decided not to because it would have been too expensive. she's really smart too. she would have gotten in, if she had applied.
