back to philosophy for a sec.
i have one, it's not complicated but people have a hard time getting it. it took me two years to fully immerse myself in it. i've got some links to the websites that influenced me for those of you i think might actually read and understand some of them (and that list is short: Corey, Reno, Narbus. I'm not sure about the rest of you)
http://www.anti-state.com
http://www.strike-the-root.com
http://www.self-gov.org
http://www.free-market.net
http://www.capitalism.org
these sites are good because they show the wide spectrum of my beliefs. some even advocate a small government.
i would subscribe to any and all of the philosphies presented on the above sites but ultimately i'm a full blown anarchist. anyway, enjoy.
also, you may want to check this out:

take the test and post your score.

I got 35
31-50 points: Your libertarian credentials are obvious. Doubtlessly you will become more extreme as time goes on.
Meh .. whatever .. not a clue what that means

67- You are a medium-core libertarian, probably self-consciously so. Your friends probably encourage you to quit talking about your views so much.
kind of weird i wasnt expecting that

Yeah, I'm the most libertarian person to post so far. And I expected a few of you to score a lot higher than me. Maybe Doug's right about people being plugged into the matrix . . .
Scratch that, second most libertarian . . .

16-30 points: You are a soft-core libertarian. With effort, you may harden and become pure.

41, for the record.
PS: There are some of the issues there I haven't really read up on much, (rent control, knock out a full half of all government regulatory agencies, etc.) so this score does hold a certain margin of error.
And the "160 points: Perfect! The world needs more like you." comment does lead me to believe *some* bias may exist here. Maybe.

48, but I'm not American and I'm not an adult (don't pay taxes and such), so it might be a bit skewed.

67, but it was pretty obvious how to choose if you wanted to score high or not.

Time for Doug to argue for his views.
Could you explain your views on these ones, thanks.
Should we abolish worker safety regulation?
Should anti-discrimination laws be abolished?
Should we abolish anti-trust laws?
