i am sure they have no proof those kids left school to protest but rather to just join and get out of school and cause trouble.
and all pro-war people want to go kill most not sure why they want to go kill and these kids steal candy bars. The world would be better if stealing candy bars was the big issue.
high school kids are dumb what do you expect them to do.

I think the problem is that a lot of people use anti-war movements as an excuse to cause trouble.

they arent doing it to protest anything, which is horrible and sometimes give people who are against war a bad reputation. Most people protest the war in a civil manner it is just that the media doesnt care about them.

Really, I think the problem is that a lot of people use pro-war movements as an excuse to cause (global) trouble.

i donno if minor things like that should be freely compared on the same level as war/killing people. Plus i'd say thats quite the steriotype (first post).

Woo! Let's generalize a little more, shall we?
The ones supporting the war also don't have to do anything to get attention. They have that narrow minded prick Bush on their side.

is that right? you know this past weekend there were pro-war rallies all over the country and only fox news network showed a blip of that. no one else even bothered, yet every fucking day i see college kids rallying, or people chaining themselves together or getting naked and spelling out words on public lands. there's your media bias right there.

they only show protests where things get out of control which are usually few and far from what i have seen. It seems everyone is pro-war on TV when I watch it but I dont watch all that much. Bush is on the paper every day and it is just starting to annoy me with all these threats of attacks and what we should do. When you have elders calling up the drug store (where i work) asking if we are selling gas masks that is taking it to far. The media is playing both sides but not fairly i believe. In general the media is bad and has no idea what or when anything is going to happen.

no way dude, they're constantly interviewing college kids and anti-war people all the time. it's not so much they're doing anything bad, just that they assemble and the media is on them like flies on shit.

Last time I checked I don't support the war, in fact, I've protested it, and what a surprise, my record is clean. I've gone to the rallies at my school, and no one has stolen food, broken windows, or set couches ablaze. Last time I checked, the most extreme we get is the Arab people at my school put on fake blood and just lay on the ground. So good job Venom for being horrendously wrong.

good on ya Alan!
it's sad how bias the media is and unfortunately little can really be done since it's not the overwhelming majority who oppose war.
it'll be interesting to see if this ends up being a downfall for the US...

my mom was listening to the Bush speech a couple nights ago when we were on our way back from the health club. i listened a little, but then listene to 99 red balloons the whole time he was talking. kind of ironic.
