I'm not saying I agree with everything this guy says, but he is as conservative as you can get.
The Paul Revere Society 9-Point Program
MEN AND WOMEN PROTECTING AMERICA
1. Make tax cuts permanent.
2. Close the borders now.
3. Deport all illegal immigrants now.
4. Eliminate bilingual education in all states.
5. Require health tests for all recent foreign born immigrants.
6. Eliminate as many entitlement programs as possible.
7. Reduce the number of Federal Employees.
8. Oil Drilling on U.S. Soil.
9. Tort Reform "STOP LAWYERS".

4. Eliminate bilingual education in all states.
How does that protect America? If anything it would just shut your collective eyes even more to the fact that you're not alone on this Earth.

Oil drilling on U.S. soil? Yeah we're gonna find enough oil there...
I would kill myself if anyone like this ever came into power.

Conservative:
-Favoring traditional views and values; tending to oppose change.
The ancestors of the US spoke English. By assimulating yourself to the US, you agree to conform to its standards. There is no reason why the US should conform to those entering the country. The points do not ask other countries to change their language, they simply want to protect the US from having to change its.
Also, by forcing schools to teach in several different languages, it reduces the quality of the education. It also separates the people because diffent kids will be in different classes. They won't be able to communicate with eachother. The very thing you claim eliminating the languages would do.

No one asked you to change your language. I'm just talking about a little global perspective here.
And eliminating biligualism = reducing the quality of education, btw.

But just because we speak English and the ancestors of the US spoke English, does not mean there aren't other languages out there spoke by large populations. If no one learns to speak other languages, we will not be able to communicate with others, unless we force them to learn English. I do not think it should be forced upon children to learn languages other than English, but it should be provided. Besides, the most many schools are teaching are 4 languages. Mine teaches mainly Spanish, French, German, and only a little Japanese. It's not like these schools are trying to teach Swahili.

they wouldn't ever close out the borders because they would find a way to make it against some stupid clause

It would be funny if she went to Swahilia and made fun of their language.

Teaching other languages is not the same as teaching IN other languages.
