Funny story from the onion, but it sort of makes a good point. After reading some of the responses to the passing of the patriot act on this and other online fourms, i begin to wonder if many of you would actually think any differently about the sirens then the woman interviewed in the story.

Assume the us government really did want to implement measures like this - would you tolerate it?
